A Little Focus

An installation outside the Columbus Museum of Art.

Today was the first clear sky I've noticed since starting this project. It was impressive just how good it looked. I wish I had waited for the clouds in the frame to disappear.

I spent some time taking photos while ax-throwing with friends in the evening. A dimly lit room with fluorescent paint in many places and some fast-moving objects was the most challenging lighting I've worked with. Almost every picture was too blurry. I experimented with focusing on the wire mesh between me and the thrower, but it didn't turn out well, especially with the motion blur.

I thought I had a few good shots of a friend lining up to throw, but bad posture is pretty easy to see and doesn't look great.
