A leading line to nowhere
Today's challenge from ChatGPT was:
A Leading Line to Nowhere: Find a strong leading line (a road, railing, shadow, etc.), but instead of leading to a clear subject, let it guide the viewer to ambiguity or emptiness.
I didn't have to think about what photo to take today. I noticed this garden yesterday and figured it would be the right task for "leading lines to nowhere." Lining up with the fence seemed right; the sidewalk to the right isn't that appealing.
I should have raised the camera higher and pointed it down a bit more to hide the end of the garden. I felt rushed to get home, but I should have taken more time to line up the edge of the frame with the fence.
ChatGPT thinks I should work on the lighting & mood, to which I can only say: I'm excited to be anywhere with weather other than "cloudy, all day, every day," which we're getting this week. But again, if the chance presents itself, I'll have to try again.
