Reading by the river
It was a sunny day with nice enough weather for a walk. I went to the river intending to get a photo quickly and was out for an hour and a half. That's a nice change of pace.
I took a bunch of photos at Pier 76 and ended up with a couple that looked acceptable. I was pleased with how they turned out in black and white. I should spend some time focusing on black and white photos to force thinking about fewer factors while shooting.
As I got further south, I looked for people on the benches overlooking the water. Nobody stood out until this photo. I was delighted to find I could make the trees frame her just right. I knew this was the photo for the day and headed home.
With all the oranges and blues here, I tried upping the saturation more than the photo editor suggested, and I like how that turned out.
