Sideview mirror
Another day with a bunch of driving.
I like the challenge of taking photos as a passenger in a car. You don't get to choose where you are; moments pass by quickly. The time pressure and lack of freedom force thinking about a narrower subset of details.
We had some other sunset photos that came out great. And I got a nice selfie in the same sideview mirror. But as soon as we started driving down the highway, away from the sunset, I knew I had my photo for the day.
Holding the camera steady in the car is difficult, especially on the bridge, which had a lot of bumps. But I think the blurred rearview mirror with the clear reflection is pretty cool, which I worked out by playing with the shutter speed.
